Low Cost Solar Lighting Kit SRY-01consists of solar panel, power supply box and LED bulb(very low energy consumption, only 1W) is currently regarded as the best lighting solution for people in remote areas, especially in rural Africa. We use NI-MH (Nickel Metal Hydride) rechargeable battery instead of lead-acid battery or NI-CD battery, because of its long life, no memory effect, no toxic, friendly to the environment. In our view, solar light (solar lantern, solar lighting kit, etc.) for developing countries, must have the following 3fundamentals.
(1). LOW COST (because the potential users are poor)
(2). DURABLE (long life, no danger for the children, not requiring special knowledge to maintain and operate the devices)
(3). EASYTO USE /EASY TO INTALL (most users are not well trained. The simpler, the better)
