Tu B'Shvat is the New Year for trees and to celebrate this annual event in the Jewish calendar, the Jewish Community Centre for London is organising a fun afternoon for children in association with the London Jewish Cultural Centre in Golders Green, north west London.
From 1pm to 3pm on February 12, children and their families will be able to celebrate the New Year with a host on activities both indoor and outdoor including games, songs and stories as well as food to eat. Plus, a tree will also be planted and everyone coming will learn more about the importance of tree planting.
The afternoon is aimed at all sections of the community regardless of religious affiliation.
Admission is £5 for children with adults getting in for free and on leaving a going home present will be given. |
