| B.C. forest industry looks to China |

B.C.'s forestry industry thinks the idea of sending wood to China to be manufactured into products by Chinese workers is a good one.
Chinese work for about one-tenth of what B.C. workers earn.
Those wood products could then be brought back to B.C.'s traditional markets, in effect competing against manufacturers here.
The presentation is being screened for both government officials and forest industry leaders.
