Brazil’s plywood industry exported more than 100,000m³ elliotis pine plywood for the first time in a while in May 2010. Export statistics released by the association Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Madeira Processada Mecanicamente showed that May’s ship-ments of 100,300m³ had been close to the level last recorded in March 2009 (100,320m³). Last year, Brazil only exported more than 100,000m³ elliotis pine plywood in the months of January (104,680m³) and March.
