| German softwood lumber prices are still on the way up |

(15 April 2010) In view of unbroken brisk demand on the German softwood lumber market, the price rise that began several weeks ago has continued almost unabated until the beginning of April. Prices for crate boards are the only ones not to have continued rising but have stabilised instead at the level reached at the end of March. Market players are working from the assumption that general upward trend in prices is going to continue at least until the middle of April.
